Sept. 11, Latvia declared its national support for the Global War on
Terrorism.
Approved
use of airspace, airfields and ports for GWOT.
Offered
10 cargo handlers as part of Danish contingent deployed to Manas,
Kyrgyzstan.
As
part of backfill, has offered to double (to two infantry companies)
SFOR contributions and more than double (to 25 soldiers) KFOR
contributions.
