 Ambassador
Victoria Nuland is the United
States Permanent Representative to the North Atlantic
Treaty Organization. Appointed by President Bush,
Victoria Nuland was sworn in as the 18th United States
Permanent Representative to the North Atlantic Treaty
Organization (NATO) on July 13, 2005. As
Ambassador to NATO, she heads the combined State-Defense
Department US Mission to NATO.

meeting of Foreign Ministers (IFM 2006) Sofia, Bulgaria 27- 28 April
2006 Foreign Ministers of NATO will hold an
informal meeting in Sofia, Bulgaria, on 27 and 28 April 2006, under
the chairmanship of the NATO Secretary General, Mr. Jaap de Hoop
Scheffer. The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs
of Bulgaria, His Excellency Mr. Ivaylo Kalfin, will host the
meeting.
