U.S. Ambassador to NATO Kay Bailey Hutchison Travels to Ukraine
Brussels, Belgium – U.S. Ambassador to NATO Kay Bailey Hutchison will travel to Kyiv, Ukraine, on April 12, 2018.
Ambassador Hutchison will participate in the Kyiv Security Forum’s opening event, a panel discussion titled “NATO-Ukraine: Partnered for Peace in Europe.” Launched in 2007 by the Arseniy Yatsenyuk Foundation Open Ukraine, the Kyiv Security Forum is an annual event that brings together policymakers, academics, journalists, and other intellectuals to exchange views on security in the Black Sea region and wider Europe. While in Kyiv, Ambassador Hutchison will hold meetings with U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine Marie Yovanovitch and Ukrainian government officials. She will also visit Maidan Nezalezhnosti to pay respect to those who lost their lives there in 2014 during Ukraine’s Revolution of Dignity.
